i'm janusz. i am mostly known for my research on bitcoin layers. i care about self-sovereignty and humanity's ability to transact without being surveiled.

whilst my current research and work focuses on bitcoin, i am very excited about zcash, monero, darkfi, penumbra, aztec, and other privacy-preserving protocols.

i believe cryptocurrencies are useful for a limited number of usecases. primarily uncensorable payments.

when i'm not online, i enjoy listening to punk rock and drinking beer with my friends.

i speak english, pretty good spanish, some portuguese, a small amount of german, and can ask for a cab in russian, serbian, or arabic.
